Patricia on Jul 18, 2016I know it's from the lily family, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it. More than likely a bulb and I would let it grow till fall and then transplant it where you would like it to grow.Helpful Reply

NaNa Bear on Jul 18, 2016That lil' beauty is called a "Mexican Shell Flower or Mexican Day Lily".. botanical name is "Tigridia Paronia" (good luck pronouncing that one!! lol).. I have a bundle of them as well.. PRETTY.. I didn't see the rest of your ??'s.. lol.. Bulb, full sun, perennial, aprox 18" tall & grows like a "Peacock Orchid.. outside Ground Orchid".. erect & a single per bulb.. Will probably naturalize each year.. & if you move it now - it will throw it into shock.. I'd just wait till it's done blooming and mix into your garden w/your other plants. You can probably find out more about it per it's name now (including botanical..).. Hope that helps.. Happy Gardening!! NaNa Bear, Redding CA.. zone 9BHelpful Reply
