Table-turned-Cat Bench MAKEOVER!

I've never turned a table into anything other than a new color, lol.. so I decided to give it a try and make a cat bench from an old end table. Wasn't too hard and I used things I already had or scored to make it :)
BEFORE & AFTER
First I sanded the four legs.
I decided to have some fun with the colors from the blanket I knew I would be covering this with, so multi-colored legs was a must ;)
I love these two colors together.
This throw pillow had seen the end of it's life on our bed.. it got all wonky, lol, but it was perfect to start a cushy seat! I just hot glued it to the table top to ensure it wouldn't slide around while I was working on covering it.
I stapled some batting over to cover, trimming the excess as needed.
A soft and colorful fleece blanket that my cat already loved was the obvious choice to cover her new bench!
Used my staple gun to attach it all around..
The covered corners will soon get some cat toys attached, to make it more interactive.
Painted the exposed wood panel black to blend in more with the fabric.
Added some hand painted paw prints for a whimsical touch :) I'm working on adding some tassels to one side of the corner, and some cork to the other corner, to give her something to play with.. I just need to pick those up at the dollar store this weekend!
Posey-approved!
