Non-traditional Ceiling Medallion
Make kitchen trivets, put small rubber feet on underside and you have two beautiful trivets.
I recently put a similar piece on my dining room ceiling, where our chandelier is. We cut out the center so the wires would run through the center...the result was amazing ! Then hang the other on a wall...
After I filled up my dining wall with collected trivets I started hanging wrought iron pieces outside on trellises and fences. The blank wall is next if I can work out how to hang them with adding nails holes in the vinyl siding.
The design is beautiful I agree with making them into wall art. I don't agree with using Dawn to clean them. Try just using water and a gentle brush. If that doesn't work then go for the chemicals.
SPRAY PAINT IT NICE COLOR AND HANG IT UP IN THE HOUSE....

Hang them as Wall decoration. Incorporate them into a gate or fence. Attach to Ceiling. Incorporate in Furniture Doors. Fix under glass table as decoration.
