Bead board failure

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Jun 12, 2012The laminate material is to shiny for the adhesive to bite into the surface. I suggest that you use a air powered finish nail gun to hold the panels into place. Use the adhesive as well. This type of glue oftentimes requires something to hold the wood into place until it sets. And with the shiny surface of the laminate this time is often extended for quite a long time.Helpful Reply

Sherrie S on Jun 12, 2012Everything in the home was installed by professionals so I'm sure I'd have to tear down the wall to get it off. Boo hoo. However, we do have a very nice nail gun that was recommended by Hometalk people. Might just put it to use. Thank you for your suggestions.Helpful Reply
