Judy on Jul 30, 2013If the "hole" left by the drawer doesn't have a nice finish, you can cut pieces of luaun (thin plywood, relatively inexpensive) and install before painting. Lining with wallpaper, fabric, or decoupage are other possibilities.Helpful Reply

Anna Ibarra on Jul 30, 2013You can always paint it a contrast color, or a muted color if you want the baskets to be a focal point. Mabe paint the baskets bright color to coordinate your room color. All depends on the finish and how bad or good it is. Go for it.Helpful Reply
