What is the best way to clean Silver Plated Jewelry

KMS Woodworks on Jul 31, 2013There are many "dip" type cleaners that do not need to be "scrubbed". This is a better approach for plated pieces. All of the silver work I have done has been with solid sterling. http://www.etsy.com/listing/101560921/shine-brite-silver-dip-jewelry-cleaner?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listing_promoted&utm_campaign=supplies_low&gclid=CJGPxd_t2bgCFalcMgodf2QAGg Here is a link to one of the pendents I made a few years back, and another with my hammered links. http://www.etsy.com/transaction/15830351? http://www.etsy.com/transaction/15856976?Helpful Reply

Sandygirl on Aug 01, 2013I would use the cloth. I have ruined "silver" pieces using the dips. Unless you are 100% positive they are insealed silver..you run the risk of "pitting" the surgpface with the dips. I just play it safevwith the cloths. Just easier for me. No mess.Helpful Reply
