@Carol Stanton Hi Carol! This desk was honestly one big DIY. Its hard to put a price on it. You will want to look for a rectangular dining room table with a book shelf that has the same width. You would cut a hole through the book shelf to place the table through it. As for the files on the side... These are storage baskets that were spray painted the color scheme of the room to tie it together.

I have 2 grandbabies that could use the desk! What do they sell for? Look forward to hearing from you!

I love this idea, 2 in 1, and I need to set up my computer on one side and my sewing machine on the other side. I am very limited for space, and this would be perfect. Can you help with where we can find these items, and let us know the cost.

@Kathleen Fraser I love the idea of a sewing machine on one side as well....this may just be the answer to my loft area which will be my office and craft room!!!!

I love your ideas for small spaces. I may try the bookcase with the two desks opposite the bookcase. Wonderful Idea! Thanks.

My apartment isn't all that big either, but I find that it helps to be conscious about what you're buying and bringing home if you aren't going to have the space to house it a month or 2 down the road when the novelty of having it dies off.
