Farm House Fun Table Project

This table project was for the Fab Flippin Furniture Contest and our July Sponsor was Old Fashioned Milk Paint. I love the look of milk paint so I was excited to try their products!
I love how the table ended up fitting in this space. We used it ALL THE TIME! Homework, games, a color table. It even works as a seat or a footrest.
This is actually a mid-way shot of this piece. It started as just a regular kitchen table that I found alongside the road. I brought it home, clean it up. We chopped-off half of each leg.
Then came the opportunity to paint it Snow White with Old Fashioned Milk Paint, so I did. I gave it a little sand and finished it with Daddy Van's Bee's Wax. I also used extra-bond with the paint so it would stick to the laminate surface. The extra-bond worked REALLY, REALLY well!
...and that was it! I love the functionality of this piece more than anything! I'm so much happier with it white than brown though! Thanks to the FFFC and OFMP Co. for helping me get this project done!
