Driftwood Sailboats
Turning pieces of wood, worn with time and the elements, into rustic, beachy, fun decor!
Pieces of weathered wood gathered from the bank of a local creek. Counts as "driftwood" in my book : )
Drilled holes for the stick "masts".
Glued them in place with Gorilla Glue, but you may want to just use regular hot glue.
Cut sails from a piece of old canvas from an ironing board cover.
Attach the canvas to the stick masts, and enjoy as rustic, beachy decor, or let the kids have fun with them!
