Vintage Cowboy and Indian Mantel
by

My dad's 1950's Straight Arrow game was the inspiration for a Cowboy and Indian themed mantel. I love doing themed mantels, especially when I can use vintage things from my family.
My dad's childhood drum looks great on the mantel.

Linda P on Apr 03, 2014Love your mantel. It brings back lots of memories of my brothers when we were young. I also have a sewing basket like yours and it has crocheted flowers on the top. Faded now, so I've topped it with a big silk rose lapel pin. I'm glad to know the time period for the basket.
