Rustic Twiggy and Barnboard Potting Bench
by

Twigs and barnboard (or old fence boards) go together like peanut butter and jelly; perfectly. This potting bench is used more for displaying some eclectic groupings of vintage and hypertufa pots these days, but in its day, it was functional.
The old fence was torn down and salvaged - there was still some life left in them. The twigs are alder and some pine, and the longer ones on the back are saskatoon - all of which grow locally on my acreage.
It's true - there is never enough thyme, or time!
The potting bench is used for lots of photo shoots and gets moved around to different spots in the garden.
