Satellite Dish Bird Cage

I raise many different outdoor birds and am always building cages. Here I used a old satellite dish for my dove cage roof.It wasn't easy finding the old fiberglass kind, But my husband and I would take drives around the country to see if we could find one. Found many mesh type. A knock at ones door to see if they wanted to part with it. They were happy to have us haul it away for them and it was free to me and to them.I stuck glow in the dark stars to the inside roof and now the birds have a beautiful starry night roof.

Sounds like @Pam Perkins Zirbel we think alike. Sometimes my hubby is throwing things in the metal trash can for $ and Im pulling it out (when he's not looking) I then put it in my garden shed until my idea pops into my head to make something out of it. Like you said "Got to love Junkin" Hey! I just got a idea.lol

In 1980 My husband and I went on a joint venture to Thailand and stayed on a Pattaya Beach Hotel. On the Garden grounds they had beautiful cage grass roofed huts with different colored Parakeets and exotic Parrots in them similar looking to the round one. They were simply beautiful.
