I've been going to yard sales to find chip or broken pots. Sometime Lowes or Home Depot will have broken ones and will sell them at a greatly reduced price.
-
I have several of these!! -
Broken pots make great frog houses, too! -
I'm trying this with a broken pot and petunias in my year this year! -
I may need to break a pot this weekend! -
An old child's wagon works equally as well to plant in too and it looks really nice with the right plants in it! -
I have to try this. It looks pretty. -
I have several of these; got the ideas from the lobby at Palazzos (however their pots are not broken!) -
Like this a lot. Have some pretty green pots I will try this in. -
@ Sandy...lol... like Kathy said U don't need to break any :) -
I do the same thing, my dog hit some in my garden shed and they fell and broke, had a three ceramic pot all in one and was so mad the back broke off and when picking it up I decided to keep it and put it in the ground like yours and flowers and all. Going to do this by my mailbox, have seen them there and so pretty. -
Sharon love to see your photos :) -
Have not done this yet but when I do, will post pic ok. Here is our garden and pond with falls we just finished, still adding plants.-

Sharon B It's pretty simple, if you figured it out in this post, you will have no trouble :) Go to the main page (www.hometalk.com) and click on the red 'post' button. The rest is intuitive. Let me know if you need any help. -
Log in, click red post & follow prompts ... U can do it! -
thank u will do........ -
btw... all the impatiens in my garden perished (in-ground/potted) not a one survived... Heard it devastated impatiens everywhere... anyone else hit? See.. http://www.baristanet.com/2012/09/the-diseas... -
I hadn't heard that. Here in Illinois, my impatiens look the best they have all summer due to the drought. It's been raining now, so they are happy. -
yes, I went home to Syracuse NY in August and they were all complaining on this for sure......not here though -
