Refreshing Stool Using Chalk Paint

I have a thing for stools and benches. I buy them when I can and enjoying refreshing them using chalk paint, wax and occasionally painters canvas to recover them. (Not my original idea, but shared on various blogs.) Here are some stools I've worked on and enjoyed transforming. How do the rest of you use your stools?

Love it! I still have my mothers Singer sewing machine she bought in 1950 that has the stool with the leather seat. I may have to brighten the stool up a bit with your idea. Who really cares that I painted something 64 years old? Mama will never know. :)
