Kala Professional Restoration services on Nov 17, 2015Really nice article you have shared for leaking roof. I appreciate your ideas and tips. The way you have repaired the roof is really inspiring. I will definitely consider for my future plan. Some plants and trees, like weeping willows, have pretty invasive roots. If you’re not careful, they’ll grow right into your sprinkler system, drainage field, pipes, and septic tanks. Plan before you plant to keep roots away from any water lines. You can hire a service to clean your roof, but doing it yourself can save you $100 or more. Plan to clean roof at least twice a year—more often if the roof is directly beneath trees or you live in a region with frequent storms.

You did nice work, if you want to make it more durable and long lasting then, put DIY EPDM liquid butyl rubber on it. It is extremely airtight and waterproof smooth seamless membrane celebrating 25 year history of success in roof repair solutions. DIY elastomeric liquid butyl rubber is the most durable, cost effective and long lasting sealant having the ability to contract and expand in extreme temperature fluctuations making your roof extremely resistant and highly insulated in extreme temperature fluctuations and can withstand ponding water 365 days a year for a fraction of the cost. It can be applied on all roof types effectively sealing all kinds of cracks, leaks, and gaps as it is liquid in nature and seeps into them making a strong, hard and finished membrane when completely cured at temperature above 50 degrees.
