Apartment Entryway Progress

Our entryway is almost entirely hand-made or thrifted, including an entry door and herringbone console table I built, a piece of subfloor my 3 year painted, decor I repurposed, and farmer's market or secondhand store finds.  Not too bad for $240 (including the $150 I spent to build our door!)
It's such a great feeling to know there's a personal story behind nearly everything here.
I'm looking forward to making it more functional in time, but we love knowing that our console and even our door was hand-made and designed by us.

  • @Gail Salminen thank you for your kind comment. :) I am thankful that so many people generously share their work. It's a pleasure for me to be able to make things and share that work back too. =D

It's awesome Yvonne. How fun to know that your three year old daughter made the modern art painting!
    • @Z =D Yes. My cousin recommended that I fill our house with her paintings. How neat to see how she grows and changes through her art over the years.
