Carol .i dont mind at all ...I painted them with a oil base paint 13 years ago ,maybe more ..cant remember ..i tinted bright red oil base paint with black tint until i got the deep red i wanted ...everytime i think about another color i talk myself out of it ..the island bar area is the same color as cabinets but looks off in my photo ...im thinking black would look good on the bar part ..maybe ...then maybe not ...thanks Carol ..
@Carol C & Elise - Your home has been featured in Country Sampler and will be again this Fall??? Carol you must know Elise - I'm just curious about the connection - and how you (Carol) have the inside track to all this great info?? BTW- apparently we have 2 ladies by the name of Carol C. both from San Antonio??
Susan ,I think Carol is referring to our sites on Facebook ...also this is the first time the house will be featured in CS and will be in the Fall issue this year...It was in another magazine a few years back and the garden house and garden is in Judy Condons book on gardens out this last March ...Carol is a friend on Facebook ..I have wonderful friends there ..Thanks for asking !

Sure ...I will be happy to do that for you...but i would say anyone who does country decor could be in there ...i was just lucky they seen some of my home on facebook and they ask me to do it ...It was a lot of fun and they were real nice ..they didnt photograph my favorite antiques ...Are you on Facebook ? if so friend me ..i would love to accept you ...
