Pink Striped Antique Dresser

My sister-in-law brought me this antique dresser that had been in her family for years. Unfortunately, it had been pretty beat up and was covered in pink marker. She asked me to repaint it so that she could use it as a changing table. I painted it in three coats of ivory chalk based paint. next I taped off the front of it and painted on a layer of pink to make some stripes. I then distressed it and covered it in a layer of clear wax. To see the frames I built to go above it click here http://www.restorationredoux.com/?p=5523.

Handmade with Ashley on Dec 24, 2015That's a really gorgeous makeover. I love the colors. I may have to do something very similar to an old dresser in my home.
