Yes, that's what I did... turned piano pieces into some very interesting projects....
This piece is the fall that covers the piano keys. A few modifications, a coat of paint, and some embellishments and I created a display mantel to hang on the wall.

This is the pile of piano pieces I found on the side of the road
Screwed together so it stayed open at this angle...
With a channel at the top to hold plates, it was just perfect for a wall mantel.
