    I have done this. To give myself toe room underneath, I put wheels on the shelves sides. I can also move the shelves round when I feel the need to change my room.

    This is a great craft table but it would also serve well as an island in a kitchen to hold small appliances we all buy and then don't want to dig out to use! Imagine a pull out spring up shelf in one cubby for the mixer...ready to go! Have a plug
