What can I do to plastic shelving to improve its looks?

Colleen on Aug 11, 2013Not sure what the shelving looks like, but maybe use an orbital sander on them to give a frosted look. Or try covering with piece of open weaved linen, to give texture.Helpful Reply

Mary-Jo Westbrook on Oct 21, 2013I'm in the same situation- found we can duct tape them- maybe just the round legs? Paint with spray paint, decopouge- maps, material, scrapbook paper, or just put material around it to make a 'closet' like storage. I'm leaning twards spray painting, but it's getting cold outside. so now I"m leaning twards duct taping just the legs. Rustoleum makes a 2X spray paint that has primer in it- it's a wonderful brand. Menards, Meijer, Walmart, Home Depot- all carry it in wonderful colors.Helpful Reply
