About Me:

Many of you probably recognize me from HGTV's "Designed to Sell" and I am so excited to be home talking with y'all! I have spent several years on HGTV helping homeowners ready their homes to sell and trust me, I have seen it all. What people often forget is that I have homes of my own that I work on just like all of you. So, I will be making my way through Hometalk.com looking at all of your posts, projects, pictures, etc. I will also be posting my own questions and comments as well. We just completed Phase 2 of our landscape project. We laid bermuda sod along the side of the ...»
house and installed flagstone 'stepping' stones as a walkway. We almost installed a full sidewalk, but wanted it to be more organic and this option was more cost effective.

My fiance (a HUGE DIY'er) and I replaced the carpet with REAL Hardwood floors this fall.

We purchased the wood, underlayment, tools and trim pieces from Floor and Decor outlet in Roswell. The kind folks at "F & D" were VERY knowledgeable about their products and we're very ...»

The floors look great! I love hearing DIY stories like this. A lot of sweat equity went ...»
into, but you'll get a return on your investment and saved a lot of money on installation. NICE!
