Plastic spoon pendant light

Get a plastic bottle, lots of plastic spoons, hot glue and lots of patience and you have a gorgeous lamp! I made this for our hallway! I love turning it on and off! The economy lamp we used does not emit heat to melt the spoons or bottle!

Use old doors to DIY a rustic and eclectic coffee table.

I recently found two old doors in a construction dumpster on the side of the road. After doing a bit of prep work with the old paint (including scraping and sanding for days and days) I ...»
decided on a coffee table design that was so easy to assemble. The only power tool I used was an electric drill. I was able to use parts from both of the doors for all of the wood parts of the coffee table and keep as much of the rusty old hardware on as possible. I added casters to the coffee table to make it easy to maneuver. You know when someone wants to clean in here. I'm not sure who that person is, but I thought I was being very thoughtful with the caster decision. :) #ProudestDIY

Camping Themed Boy's Bedroom

Our son loves to camp and we love wildlife. This is what resulted when we painted and imagined his room as a mountain camping setting.
