Fall Mantel

Simple hydrangeas and leaves from my garden were the starting point for my first Fall mantel. If you would like to see more photos be sure to follow the link to the blog post.
I attached leaves from my red maple with some raffia to battery operated candles. The leaves dried out but continued to look great.
Added hydrangea blooms from my garden and they too began to dry. They looked lovely as they turned into a pale colour.
Used pumpkins, books and frames to complete the look.
