I had an office off the kitchen that was 5ft x 10ft . It was not working as an office, and I was limited on kitchen space. So with the help of my husband,I turned the office into a French Country butler's pantry.
Step one, we took out the middle lower cabinet and raised it to fit a beverage refrigerator. Then, we purchased a piece of granite we had fit to size to place on top of the area to create a coffee bar.
After adjusting the middle cabinet height, we sanded the cabinets and painted them black with a commercial spray painting machine. After the paint had dried and cured, we lightly sanded areas to give the pantry an aged over time appearance.
