How to change the color of an outside rug?

The old rug is beige and red. I want to change the red. It is on my patio.

cover and tape off the center of the rug. Get a can of outdoor spray paint in the color that you want and spray the parts that you want to cover. It may take a few coats but it will work.

Maybe try paint pens, a darker color than the red. Good luck.

In my opinion I would not try to spray paint the carpet . I would use fabric markers so you can re-color the areas do not care for.
