Can woven wood be painted?

It's the grassier type, not just bamboo shades. If so, what type of paint to use? Thanks

Spray paint would work for this, but like Gail said in the previous post, priming is essential. You can but spray primer which would make the job a lot easier.
Sure! I would be sure to prime first, paint second and then seal,third. Use spray poly seal, especially if it's going to be outside. Send a picture when you're finished, I would love to see how it turned out!
