What plant is this?

Sarit N.
by Sarit N.
About four years ago my husband and I bought this plant. It has survived until now, but I would like to care for it more. I thought the leaves would have two-tones of green and would grow bigger, but so far that hasn't happened.
One side tends to grow taller than the other, but that's due to the positioning of the sun.
Can anyone identify this plant? Any tips on how to care for it?
Thanks!

what ever it is.... unless it is supposed to be pale in colour I would say it could benefit from some plant food and / or re-potting & pruning to bring out the best in the plant. It currently looks like it is struggling for nutrients.

Dieffenbachia. Your plant looks like it is overdue for repotting and planting into the next size pot.Keep the plant moist not wet. Allow to adjust feed it with a water based fertilizer. Remember that will take place of the regular watering for that week.

As they said, dieffenbachia, here what you have to do First, trim the plant, cut the high yellow branches to the height of the low branches Second, replant in a bigger pot, with new potting soil Third, water, adding 1 tablespoon of water based miracle grow to 2 litres of water and keep fertilizing at least once a month from then on and you will see your plant becoming a mini tree. Good luck

It's a Dieffenbachia. And looks like it has outgrown that small pot it's in. Time for repotting I think :-)
