Using Rustoleum Chalkboard Paint Instead of Chalk Paint
by

I'm cheap, and I'm kinda lazy. When I had some leftover Rustoleum Chalkboard paint from chalkboard projects, I decided to try it on a shelf and a bedroom chest. I wanted to see if it would perform like "chalk paint" and not need sanding or priming.
I have never used the more expensive chalk paint but with distressing, a stain pen and clear furniture paste, I am more than happy with the way my furniture turned out.

Joanne Kinlaw on Nov 16, 2014I love the paint job. I was using brush on chalkboard paint and I saw chalkboard spray paint at Lowe's a few days ago. I'm gonna try it out very soon. If I can spray paint something there's no way I want to be brush painting lol.
