We had home and yard damage in the flood of 2009.

Dan's of Central Florida, Inc. on Mar 29, 2011Hi Sarah, Sorry to hear about the damage you suffered. The crusher stone doesn't need to be level, but to me at least it looks better if it is "even" (level in regards to slope the ground itself is at) I would suggest making it about 4 - 6 inches deep to allow for good drainage. If this is to be used as some sort of water run-off/flood prevention, don't pack it down any. You might add a couple inches of sand under the stone for added drainage.Helpful Reply
