Potomac, MD 20878: Hall Bathroom Renovation
by
Hammer Design Build Remodel

The Huang family wanted a change for a more modern look in their guest bathroom while still appealing the overall theme of cleanliness blended with traditional tones in the rest of their home. Custom framed mirrors and a floating vanity with glass counter and vessel sinks added a unique style. Porcelain tile with marble tones and a glass and stone mosaic accent helped tie in the bathrooms colors and texture with the rest of the spaces in the home.

Saffron Tulieres on Nov 25, 2013That countertop is exactly what I was looking for when I put in a bathroom earlier this year! Probably wouldn't have been within my budget anyway but I'd love to know the source. I ended up ordering a custom color of laminate from Lowe's kitchen department and only after my contractor finished building and installing the countertop did I find out they shipped a darker shade of green (the item code was off by one number) with packaging and paperwork that said it was the shade I actually ordered and now I have a sage countertop that doesn't really compliment my light sea foam walls and accent tiles. I spent more than I planned on spending and ended up with something I would have only chosen if there were no better choice than whatever the prefab counter selection had to offer (I might as well have taken a white or ecru one after all the time I spent trying to find the counter I thought I was getting). At least I can live with it. Anyway, that countertop is beautiful and you did a fabulous job overall.

Inga H on Mar 05, 2014looks great, but where are the traces of any human activity? Normal people usually have some stuff on the counter and around, how the Huang family manage to do without anything? I always think about it when I see the photos of such perfect rooms :-)

Hammer Design Build Remodel on Mar 13, 2014@Inga H Very true :) Typically we photograph our projects just as we complete them, before turning the room back to the homeowners. If the photography session happens later on, the project designer will stage the space. Greg B. http://hammercontractors.com/
