DIY Button Bracelet

I typically make rings with buttons, but my boss's wife gave me a large amount that included a shank on the back. And a lot of them were designer brands! Instead of letting them go to waste, I decided to make a charm-like bracelet with them.
I used a chain/charm bracelet (7.5 inches long, I believe) and slipped a jump ring through the shank on each button, then through a link on the chain. I used pliers to close the rings, then moved onto the next link. What I ended up with was a black, white, and silver collection of designer buttons that probably costs more than most of my wardrobe! Warning - don't try this if you don't have fairly nimble fingers!
What else can be attached to a charm bracelet? I'm always looking for ideas!
