Ant Poison DIY
by
Made From Pinterest

Have you ever had an ant invasion in your home? I had one this week under my computer desk. I ran for the ant spray and found an empty can. A few minutes on Pinterest led me to the inexpensive and effective homemade ant poison. Worked like a charm on the first try!

Karen Lowe on Aug 03, 2016I have always used either cinnamon or cucumber peals for the occasional sugar ants that would mysteriously appear in the kitchen. However this year, we have been inundated with "Terminator" ants and their motto definitely is, "I will be back!" This year we have begun sprinkling the yard with diatomaceous earth. We have used this product in the past to protect our yard from fleas, ticks etc... but after moving we had failed to do so for the last couple of years. DE is an off white talc-like powder that is the fossilized remains of marine phytoplankton and is quite safe for one's plants, household animals etc... At any rate, hopefully, the DE (diatomaceous earth) will do the job and we can halt the barrage of Terminator ants and they will not be back.

First pasty but turns into a solid rock VERY quickly, so NOPE. Terro baits must use something to keep them liquid.
