An Easy Fall Burlap Leaf Table Runner

Create a whimsical and unique leaf table runner out of burlap! Great for fall festive gatherings!
First, I copied a leaf and blew it up to fit a 8 1/2"x11" sheet of paper. Then I cut it out and used it as a pattern on orange burlap.
I doubled the fabric and cut two out at a time. After cutting out the leaves, I outlined the edges with white puffy paint and let dry for four hours following the directions. It took about three bottles to outline 28 leaves.
After the puffy paint dried, I held a steam iron over the leaves to puff the paint.
Next, I laid out the leaves in a pattern with a row of leaves down the center, flanked by leaves on each side, making them all touch. I glued where they met with Aileen's Extra Tacky Glue and allowed to dry completely before displaying.
What a lovely fall festive runner. Great for holiday gatherings!
