Sparkles on Aug 25, 2013If the above does not work for you try denture tablets. Drop in and let the bubbles do the work. If these still do not work then you may have to go to something else. There is a product that I use called The Works for toilets. It works wonders on my hard water lime rust problems. CLR is another product that may help but I have not had as much luck with it.Helpful Reply

Robin Berteau on Aug 25, 2013We had the same problem with our well water. Had the water tested and it was high in iron and manganese. I would use a product called Whink. It comes in a liquid or tablet for the tank. Great product. We finally put a special filter on ours house and it solved the problem. http://www.whink.com/Helpful Reply

Sherrie on May 06, 2015Use The Works. It has muratic acid. Let it sit until it turns colorless. Scrub. Repeat if necessary. You need to get a dye kit. It sounds like you have a leak some where. If that doesn't work it could be tannins. And it's the City you live in.Helpful Reply
