Replace a small section of carpet
-
LandlightS on Aug 23, 2013Get some Carpet Tape(about 2 inches wide) at your local Ace, HD or Lowes. Place the replacement piece of carpet over the area that it will be replacing (larger that what is being replaced) and using a very sharp, new razor blade....cut through both the new and old carpet so that you will have an exact replacement piece. Remove the backing on the tape and fit it under the existing carpet so that 50% of the adhesive is exposed and press the replacement piece into place. That should hold it in place and your repair is done. Please be careful and do not cut your finger,,,,,,,GaryHelpful Reply
