The moles are there to eat the food crop. Reduce or eliminate the food source and you will see improvements. The Garden Frog with C Renee on Aug 24, 2013For an alternative to chemicals~castor oil or at Walmart or other big box stores the mole repellant which is castor oil in a hose sprayer. Saturate the ground but work your way out from the house to the pastures. I have had old timers in the past tell me juicy fruit gum stuck in the holes. I have tried the cat poop method before with great success. LOL but now I stick to castor oil and my watering can. Plus I have cats and dogs that dig everywhere and catch them and the voles that use their trails to eat the roots of plants. Good luck.Helpful Reply
