KMS Woodworks on Aug 24, 2013I've never been a fan of the "non-spill kind" I just use a basic 2 gal Blitz can...when not being used the spout get inverted and stuck back in the can...a yellow cap cover the top of the inverted spout. the nifty thing about this style is the spout has a vent so it pours without going glug glug. I got mine at HD some years back... http://compare.ebay.com/like/151102978267?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbarHelpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Aug 24, 2013Its against the law now to sell cans with the old style spouts. You could try any of the sites such as Ebay. But what I did was to simply remove the spout and using a long sharp drill drilled out the safety part so the fuel would run without trying to push or pull the safety device. HOWEVER! this is fine as long as your careful with the fuel container and that you use the cap that comes with the spout when transporting the can to the station for a fill up. While the idea of safety was a great thing, no one as of yet as far as I know has come up with a good quality safety spout. When they do, they will make a fortune selling this product.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Aug 25, 2013That is all dependent upon the size of the spout. I used a 1/2 inch drill that was 10 inches long. It needs to be long enough to reach the part that sealed off the spout and big enough to allow fuel to flow freely. Yours may be different. Just remember to use the sealing cap when transporting the tanks after modifying them, or you risk spillage.Helpful Reply
