Can anyone tell me or advice me where to go to get thrown out or scrap deck wood for close to free? Venturing into a new project Thank you — feeling excited.

try your local Freecycle.org group or call some contractors and let them know what you're looking for. maybe you'll get lucky and one will be working on a deck soon.
