The Talentless Decorator’s Guide to Fall Porch Decor
OK, I wouldn’t say that I’m exactly completely talentless when it comes to decorating, but I certainly feel like it sometimes. If you read home/DIY/decorating blogs very often, then you’ve probably heard a lot of us ranting and raving about how much we love Fall. Then you see all these amazing Fall displays that are showcased all across blogland and you spend the whole season thinking that everyone who has a blog must just be a really gifted decorator, but.... I’m going to let you in on a little secret!
We like Fall so much because it’s so darn easy! Fall makes us look good. If you’ve never tried setting up a fancy Fall porch for yourself then you may not know this, but you pretty much can’t screw it up.
One of the best secrets is to use lots of pumpkins, either real or fake….
Plus some bright mums, plus some corn stalks…
Plus some kind of wreath…. and that's it! Of course you can get fancy and try something a little different, but you don’t have to. All you need to know is the simple “Fall Porch Formula” and you’ll be looking like you totally know what you’re doing every time!
