Making a leaf bowl

Hi, I am thinking about making a leaf bowl. Can I use hard mod podge for that? It won't be sticky after it completely dries will it?

You can make one from a large green leaf and quick set. There are instructions on Pinterest.. just look for concrete leaves in the search.

After it dries spray it with a coat of poly... it should hold up nice and not be sticky =)

I think if you use the matte version of Mod Podge, you should be OK. You can also add a little Deco Art Glamour Dust paints to add a little sparkle. Both are non toxic and clean up with water. I don't work for them, but I do use a lot of their products!

I went to the site you gave and reading the details of the product, you should be just fine using it for your leaf bowl.

If you really want something that dries hard & shiny & will last forever try resin. Glass finish & enhances the color of the leaves. Great choice. Artresin. No smell, beautiful finish.

Mod Podge will dry hard and not sticky - it's available in glossy and matte finish. I used it to decoupage tissue paper onto drawer fronts and it dried hard and has held up well. The leaves will be a little fragile, of course, but that bowl is beautiful. Let us see yours when it's finished!
