by

I am changing the colors in my kitchen - practically painting everything. The hutch is complete - the addition of beadboard wallpaper adds a wonderful farmhouse cottage feel. Using vintage kitchen items further enhance the new look to my kitchen.

Shari on Aug 26, 2013Looks great, Kathy! I'm a firm believer paint makes everything better! Wood is not sacred. It's just wood. If it's good wood, paint can be stripped off of it. If it's not good wood (or that fake wood stuff), no harm done. About five years ago, I painted almost every wood (and faux wood) surface in our house (furniture, doors etc.) Thought my husband was going to have a heart attack at first but when it was all said and done, he admitted everything I painted looked better. Now he barely bats an eye when he sees me with a can of paint and paintbrush in hand. :D
