360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on Aug 29, 2013hmm...we have had an extraordinary rain season. But it did well last year when we didn't have rain. I haven't fertilized it since I planted it about 4? years ago. I did use some pretty good soil and a heavy mulch. I trim it to keep it in a more 'tree form vs. bushier and because the Chinese Monkey Puzzle and it are now vying for space! I am a terrible plant keeper when they are in the ground...pretty much on their own. I do trim out dead blooms occasionally to keep it looking good through the bloom season because it is in front of the nursery. I think I took some pictures of how I cut it last time, which was about 3 weeks ago...will check and post if I find them
