Poinsettia Arrangement Lamp for Christmas

It is pretty exciting to be part of the Hometalk - Lamps Plus Holiday Design Challenge, where a lamp has been given to each participant in order to be decorated/filled with anything for the "December Holidays".
My first thought was using red in the design, that and my love to decorate with poinsettias around Christmas time set me on track.

August is not the right month to shop for poinsettias. They had to be fetched out from under a pile of Christmas decorations.
They needed a makeover.
Glue and glitter worked wonders.
Some leaves got the same treatment.
A sparkling jewel was hot glued in the center.
Finally, a bed of pearls at the bottom and a piece of ribbon around to the top of the lampshade, and this "arrangement" will light up any spot in your home during the Holidays!
