Christmas Scene With Lights--using an Old Kitchen Cabinet Door.

My Mom wanted a lighted Christmas picture. One day while I was at my local ReStore I came across some cheap strands of white mini lights . There are always old kitchen cabinets, doors, drawers...So I picked up a cabinet door for around 3 dollars. The lights were about the same cost or less.
I cleaned all the grime off the kitchen cabinet door with mild soap and water. Then I had my husband sand it so the paint had a nice surface to stick to.
Here is another view with the lights off

Suggested materials:
- I think the whole project cost 6 dollars or less.
- I used acrylic paint that I already had. I sealed it with a gloss varnish and then a polycrylic.
- It is sturdy and heavy. It can safely be placed out on her front porch, we dont get snow in Sacrame
