Builder Grade Kitchen Makeover (on a Budget!)

After living in my house for ten years, I finally convinced my husband to give this room an upgrade. As always, we did as much of it DIY-style as we could. Kitchen makeovers can be expensive, so we started out with budget in mind.
It started when our existing oven broke. Since we had to buy a new one anyway, we went with stainless steel to match the dishwasher. Once that was in, we decided to upgrade the fridge as well. We wanted a larger fridge, so we removed the existing pantry (those bifold doors on the right) to accommodate the larger model.
When you live in a smaller home, you learn to maximize every inch of space. I didn't want to lose all of the storage space from the old pantry, so we added a very slim, slide out pantry to the right of the new fridge. We had my husband's cousin who is a carpenter, build this for us.
We managed to fit this slide out in only 8" of space! Another thing we did to add more space is add a second row of cabinets in the space above the existing ones. I found some of those at Habitat for Humanity and the one or two that I couldn't find, my carpenter built for us.
Once the cabinets were in place, I painted them all white. What a difference white cabinets make in a small space! The orb chandelier above the table was also a DIY project, one of my favorites yet. Even the kitchen table got a makeover.

What hardware was used for the slide out so it would be strong enough to hold pantry items (I'm assuming glass jars and cans)? I imagine it falling over or tearing out if pulled out completely.
