The Final Reveal ~ Dining/Living Room Combination
by

My clients asked for me to complete their cottage inspired dining/living room space. They didn't want a formal dining room necessarily, but a place to play games and entertain their friends and family. They also wanted the two spaces to feel more open and connected. I used as many of their accessories as I could to keep costs down and painted a vintage dining room set and cabinet for storage.

Colleen Schake on Jan 16, 2015I like the way the living room turned out but the dining room UG.... the mirror is too long and narrow for that table and the light to big. Either put some leaves in the table or move the mirror to the side wall vertically and a more sized to scale print or group those other pieces in the centered area of the table. loose the drum shade at least on the light to lighten the "weight" on it. Or switch the vertical mirror idea with the chest to balance some of the weight in the living room to the dining room that has such a bare wall.
