2013 HOLIDAY DESIGN CHALLENGE BY HOMETALK AND LAMPS PLUS

I'm getting an early jump on Christmas decorating this year thanks to HOMETALK and LAMPS PLUS !
As a part of their 2013 HOLIDAY DESIGN CHALLENGE I was asked "how would you fill and decorate this lamp"?
What fun!!!!
With Christmas music blaring and thought of sugarplums dancing in my head I got to work like a busy little elf...
POINSETTIAS IN THE SNOW shows off the softer side of the Christmas holiday. A vignette of white felt poinsettias, flocked evergreens and icy twigs work to bring a wintry white sophistication to this beautiful contemporary lamp.
I heavily embellished the barrel lampshade with poinsettias, tiny snowballs, pearls and sparkles. All fixed to the lampshade with removable glue dots. Every holiday lamp should have a little sparkle and bling!
This was such a fun challenge... even though "the weather outside was frightful"... a frightful and humid 90 degrees!
