What are you planning to do with it? How old is it? How large is it? Depending on your projects there may or may not be any prep work.

Hi MMx4, I don't have definate plans yet. We have a few trees in our front yard. One's been "down & out" for some time now and my husband has cut it and piled it up. He wants to get rid of it but I just love it! I told him I could "do" something with it😳 and now I need to figure it out!!!

Ok - just make sure it is bug-free, store it inside if possible to keep termites out of it. There is so much you can do - have fun and be sure to post photos!

Does anyone know how long it will take for the wood to dry out? I have it cut into "slices" about 3/4" thick. Thanks!!
