Something for our ANNUAL LIST for next year is BOUGAINVILLEA, a staple in Europe. They are prolific growers and bloom non-stop from Spring to Fall. It's a sun-lover and prefers to face north but will need support for growing on a fence or wall. The photo below shows what happens with Bougainvillea in Europe...

Jennifer G on May 17, 2015They grow like crazy in CA too. My old house had the fuchsia ones growing up the stone facade and around the back porch patio. I also had white Bougainvilleas that completely covered my chain link front fence and peach Bougainvillea in my Asain Garden. They are beautiful and bloom profusely the hotter it gets. I miss them...
